PREPARE / PATH

Before you start, confirm the setup path

This process requires only a browser, the IWVPN account panel, and a client that supports subscription links. Create the account and choose a plan in your browser. Route configurations do not need to be entered manually; import the personal subscription link generated in the account panel into your client. Once imported, the client will show the available routes, which you can then connect to and verify.

Open this guide on the device where you plan to use IWVPN, and keep the account panel open in a separate browser tab. After copying the subscription link, you can switch directly to the client and paste it, reducing the number of times the link passes through other apps. If you plan to configure multiple devices, import the subscription separately on each one. Do not share the client’s local configuration file publicly.

This page does not provide static installer links. Client downloads, account status, and subscription details are accessed through the account panel, and the panel’s current information takes precedence. For system guidance on AI service regions, developer tools, persistent connections, and account risk controls, read the AI Access Guide. This page keeps only the shortest path to a basic connection.

ACCOUNT / CREATE

Create an account and open the panel

First, open the IWVPN account creation page. Set a username and password; no email address is required. Use a unique password rather than reusing one from another service, and store it securely. Submit the form. The page will either open the account panel or ask you to sign in with the credentials you just created.

If you remain on the account creation page after submitting, check the message near the form. Common causes include a username that is already taken or a password that does not meet the page’s current requirements. Adjust the details as instructed and submit again; repeated page refreshes are unnecessary. Once you reach the panel, confirm that Account Overview, Plans, and the client entry points are visible in the navigation. This means the account setup is complete and you can continue by choosing a plan.

When you change devices, use the same username and password to access the account panel. IWVPN supports unlimited devices, but the subscription link is part of your account configuration and should not be placed in public documents, screenshots, or shared text. If you forget your login details or the panel shows an unexpected status, see the Account and subscriptions section of the FAQ.

PLAN / ACTIVATE

Choose a plan and complete your order

After opening the plans panel, choose a plan based on your actual usage. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly from the activation date. If you use the service occasionally and want data to remain available longer, you can also review data packages that never expire. Full differences and use cases are listed on the plans page. If you’re unsure, compare the options there before returning to the panel to place your order.

After choosing a plan, click Start Using or Choose This Plan on its card. The order confirmation area will show the selected data allowance, price, and available payment methods. Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are currently supported. Review the details and follow the panel instructions to pay. Do not create the same order again during payment; if the page does not update immediately, return to Orders or Account Overview to check the status.

Once the plan is active, Account Overview will show the subscription details and available data. If you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days, so use the settlement shown in the panel before confirming an upgrade. IWVPN offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. See the Terms of Use and the Billing and refunds section of the FAQ for the application process and eligibility.

Confirm that Account Overview shows an active subscription before copying the link. If you have just paid but the subscription section has not appeared, do not create an empty configuration manually in the client. Keep the order page and refresh Account Overview later. The order status, subscription status, and client configuration must be established in that order; skipping a step can leave the client with a name but no routes.

Open Plans Panel Copy the link after an active subscription appears.
SUBSCRIPTION / COPY

Get the subscription link

Open Account Overview in the account panel and find the subscription details section. When the plan is active, this area will provide an option to copy the subscription link or import it into a client. Click Copy; the panel will usually show a confirmation. Then switch directly to the client and import it. Do not paste the link into a search box or route it through a public page.

The subscription link lets your client retrieve the route configuration available to your account. It is not a regular web address and does not need to be opened in a browser. If you need to recognize its format, use only an obvious placeholder such as https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN. This example cannot connect to IWVPN and contains no real account information.

If the client reports that the link format is invalid after copying, return to the panel and click Copy again instead of editing characters manually. Address bars, chat apps, and rich-text editors may alter the content or omit trailing characters. The panel’s Copy button is the safest option. If the subscription link has been included in a public screenshot or document, stop using that copy and manage the subscription configuration through the account panel.

After copying the link, open the client for your device’s operating system. If you do not have a client yet, visit the client section of the account panel to see current options and instructions. This site’s marketing pages do not provide static installers, helping you avoid outdated versions or entry points that do not match your account status.

Open Account Overview After copying, go directly to the client’s subscription import screen.
CLIENTS / IMPORT

Client import by platform

The import action has different names across systems, but the logic is the same: create a subscription profile, paste the URL copied from the panel, save it, run an update, and then choose a target region from the route list. During your first setup, do not create multiple profiles with the same name, or it will be difficult to tell which one is being updated.

Windows

On Windows, open a compatible client provided through the account panel. Go to a page such as Subscription Management, Configuration Management, or Profiles, and choose Import from URL. Paste the copied subscription link in full, give the profile a recognizable name, save it, and click Update.

When the update finishes, return to the client’s main screen. The route list should show entries for multiple regions rather than a single empty profile. Choose a route and enable the system proxy or connection switch. If the system asks for network permission, confirm the application name and follow the system instructions, then continue to connection verification.

macOS

On macOS, the subscription entry is usually found under a menu bar icon, configuration list, or Profiles page. Open the Add Configuration menu and choose import via URL or remote address. Paste the subscription link and confirm. After saving, run an update manually to ensure the client retrieves the latest routes instead of continuing with the empty initial configuration.

Once routes appear, choose the target region from the menu bar or client window and turn on the connection. The first time a network configuration is created, macOS may request permission. This is a normal step required to establish the connection. After confirming, check that the client status changes to connected, then use a browser to verify the target page.

Android

On Android, the entry is commonly found in a side menu, configuration page, or Add button in the upper-right corner. Choose Add Subscription, Import from URL, or Remote Configuration, paste the link, and save it. Return to the configuration list, select the item you created, and run an update. Once route names appear, set that subscription as the active configuration.

During the first connection, the system will show a confirmation screen for establishing a network connection. Follow the system instructions, return to the client, choose a route, and start the connection. If it disconnects soon after the app moves to the background, check the device’s background activity policy. Settings paths vary considerably by device; see the Connections and troubleshooting section of the FAQ for details. Device-specific settings are not covered here.

iOS

On iOS, use a compatible client listed in the account panel. Open the client’s subscription, configuration, or remote files page, choose Add via URL, paste the subscription link, and save it. Some clients ask you to name the subscription before downloading or updating it. The name is only for identification on that device and does not change your account information.

After a successful import, return to the routes page, choose the target region, and enable the connection. The first connection may ask to add a network configuration; confirm it in the system interface. Then check both the client status and the system status area to confirm that the connection is active, and use a browser for a real access test. The account panel remains the source for client availability.

CONNECT / CHECK

Connection verification and basic route selection

After the client successfully updates the subscription, choose a route that matches the target service region. For services in Japan, start by checking Japan routes; for services in the United States, choose the corresponding region. Region selection matters more than repeatedly toggling the connection because many websites return different content based on the exit region.

After choosing a route, enable the connection, wait for the client status to stabilize, and open the target page in a new browser tab. Do not rely only on the client switch or its color. Successful page loading, a complete sign-in flow, and content matching the expected region are the meaningful checks. Pages that have been open for a while may retain an old connection state, so refresh the page or open a new tab during verification.

If a page opens but loading is intermittent, switch to another route in the same region and test again. IWVPN covers 110+ countries / 190+ routes, and different routes may suit different network conditions and target services. Frequent cross-region switching over a short period may trigger regional checks by some services, so once you find a working route, keep the region stable for everyday use.

Once verification is complete, the basic setup is finished. The client will continue using the saved subscription, but you should update it periodically, especially when a route name changes, a connection fails, or the client has not been opened for a long time. Updating a subscription does not purchase a new plan; it simply retrieves the routes currently available to your account.

CHECKLIST / RECOVER

Common issues: troubleshoot in order

When you have connection problems, first confirm that the plan in Account Overview is still active. Then check whether the client has selected the subscription you just imported. No active plan, the wrong client profile, or a subscription that has not been updated for a long time can all appear as an empty route list or an inability to access sites after connecting. Checking in this order is more effective than reinstalling the client immediately.

If the subscription update fails, return to the account panel, copy the link again, and make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the pasted content. Do not edit the URL parameters manually or use the fake example from this guide. If the subscription updates but one route will not connect, try another route in the same region. If multiple regions fail, check whether your local network can access ordinary websites normally.

If only one website or app is affected while other pages work, the issue is usually not the basic connection itself. Keep the current connection active and try refreshing the sign-in state, clearing the service’s old session, or selecting the region required by that service. AI tools may have additional requirements for regional detection, streaming output, and development environments; continue with the AI Access Guide.

If the issue persists, visit the FAQ and review the categories “Account and subscriptions,” “Connections and troubleshooting,” “Speed and routes,” and “Billing and refunds.” For human assistance, submit a support ticket through the account panel and include your operating system, the client setup stage, selected region, and on-screen message. Do not expose the complete subscription link in ticket screenshots.
